Welcome to Stone Veterinary Services

"Stone Veterinary Services was started in 2013.  My initial vision for SVS was to offer acupuncture and a holistic treatment approach for my patients. Over the years, I started adding on additional services at the request of clients and the practice has grown into a full service mobile equine practice with limited canine services.  It has always been my passion to provide comprehensive veterinary care and develop long lasting relationships with my patients and owners."

Why Choose SVS?

Hear from Our Clients

Stone Veterinary Services has been my trusted choice for over a decade. We first discovered Charity when my competition horse stopped sweating, and through a combination of supplements and acupuncture, he was able to stay comfortable through the harsh Texas summers.

Since then, Charity has been my go-to vet for both myself and my hunter-jumper program. From injections and lameness issues to allergies, annual check-ups, acupuncture, and X-rays, I trust Charity with it all!

"Dr. Charity is an exceptional equine veterinarian who has gone above and beyond for my herd. Her expertise in troubleshooting and conducting thorough lameness exams has been invaluable, but it’s her compassionate care that truly sets her apart. She treats every horse as if they were her own, taking the time to ensure their well-being and recovery. Her dedication, knowledge, and kindness make her an irreplaceable part of our team, and I cannot recommend her highly enough!" Kelli S.

Dr. Charity Stone has been our Vet for more than ten years.  During that time she has treated our horses, dogs, cats, and goats with great knowledge, care, expertise, and compassion.  She is quick to respond to texts and refill requests.

We especially love her skilled equine dentals, and it is so convenient!   She is extra gentle and goes very slowly with our PTSD Paso Fino. He does better with her than he ever did with prior vets.

Over the years, we have had some challenging cases, and Dr. Charity always goes above and beyond to research the most current Veterinary knowledge to find a workable solution; understanding our budget constraints.

Her loving care at End of Life is unsurpassed; she is truly gifted and such a blessing to our family and all our beloved critters.

You are our hero!!

"Dr. Stone has been my equine vet for more than ten years.  I have relied on her for a variety of services for my horse from basic health checks and immunizations through more complex needs like dental services, injury care, mobile x-rays, and acupuncture. She never disappoints.  She patiently answers the barrage of questions that I lob at her when my horse needs medical care and consults other specialists whenever necessary.  I've learned a lot from her and appreciate her clear and frank assessments of whatever situation my horse has managed to get herself into!  I recommend Dr. Stone without reservation for anyone looking for a visiting vet with multiple areas of expertise and a great approach to both horses and their owners."   -Joey K
"Dr Stone has been my veterinarian for 11 years.  She treats my dogs and horses like her own and has always provided exceptional care and advice in both happy and hard times.  Dr Stone is consistently available when we need her for broken toenails, old dog diseases, summer sores or just standard vaccinations and teeth floating.  My animals are always happy to see her because she treats them with kindness and patience.  Dr Stone’s compassion and dedication to her patients is truly exceptional and I can’t thank her enough for the outstanding care of my animals for all these years." - Lynn S.
"Our family has known Charity for over a decade now. She is a bright and wonderful woman,  she is a one of a kind vet and person. She has provided exemplary care for our four legged friends over these years. Charity is always one phone call away to solve our crises. When our donkey Klaus lost the tip of his tail Charity came right out and amputated in our own barn since we couldn’t get him on the trailer. He made a beautiful recovery and is now affectionately known as "Stumpy“. Charity also assisted us in the correct direction when our horse Henny needed an enucleation, the procedure was also done at home to reduce stress on himself and us. We were present for the whole process and Charity talked us through all of the steps and what was happening during the surgery. Henny is now our one eyed wonder pony, and living his best life with half his vision. Even for the routine procedures like shots and coggins Charity is always on time, smiling, and ready to work. As long as Charity is in practice we will continue to trust her with our animals 110%. If you are looking for an amazing vet for your animals don’t look any further."
