"Stone Veterinary Services was started in 2013. My initial vision for SVS was to offer acupuncture and a holistic treatment approach for my patients. Over the years, I started adding on additional services at the request of clients and the practice has grown into a full service mobile equine practice with limited canine services. It has always been my passion to provide comprehensive veterinary care and develop long lasting relationships with my patients and owners."

Equine primary care
Dr. Stone provides routine wellness exams, vaccinations, and equine dentistry. Diagnostics including lameness exams, radiographs, routine labwork, colic assessments, injury management, and numerous other equine health services are available.
Equine and canine acupuncture
In addition to traditional western medicine, Dr. Stone provides acupuncture services to manage a number of ailments including lameness, chronic pain, anhidrosis, and RAO.
End of life care
Dr. Stone partners with pet families to provide peaceful, pain free end of life care for horses, dogs, and cats in the comfort of their home when quality of life can no longer be maintained.
Canine primary care
Dr. Stone provides annual examinations, heartworm testing and parasite screening, routine laboratory diagnostics, and illness evaluation.

End of life care
Dr. Stone partners with pet families to provide peaceful, pain free end of life care for horses, dogs, and cats in the comfort of their home when quality of life can no longer be maintained.
Dr. Stone graduated from Texas A&M University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She subsequently completed an internship in equine medicine and surgery in 2009 at the University of Georgia.
Dr. Stone completed her acupuncture training in 2011 to become a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) through the Chi Institute in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Stone has been practicing large and small animal veterinary medicine in Texas since 2013.
Dr. Stone's professional interests include preventive care, lameness, metabolic disorders, geriatric care, pain management, acupuncture, and hospice care.
Dr. Stone is originally from the Houston area. When she isn't caring for patients she is busy with family activities with her husband and 3 kids who are 14yrs, 12yrs, and 9yrs old. She also has a houseful of pets including dogs, a sphynx cat, and a cockatiel among several others.

Dr. Charity Stone has been our Vet for more than ten years. During that time she has treated our horses, dogs, cats, and goats with great knowledge, care, expertise, and compassion. She is quick to respond to texts and refill requests.
We especially love her skilled equine dentals, and it is so convenient! She is extra gentle and goes very slowly with our PTSD Paso Fino. He does better with her than he ever did with prior vets.

"Our family has known Charity for over a decade now. She is a bright and wonderful woman, she is a one of a kind vet and person. She has provided exemplary care for our four legged friends over these years. Charity is always one phone call away to solve our crises. When our donkey Klaus lost the tip of his tail Charity came right out and amputated in our own barn since we couldn’t get him on the trailer. He made a beautiful recovery and is now affectionately known as "Stumpy“. Charity also assisted us in the correct direction when our horse Henny needed an enucleation, the procedure was also done at home to reduce stress on himself and us. We were present for the whole process and Charity talked us through all of the steps and what was happening during the surgery. Henny is now our one eyed wonder pony, and living his best life with half his vision. Even for the routine procedures like shots and coggins Charity is always on time, smiling, and ready to work.
